Sims Don't Belong in Alaskaaaa

As you can see, university has caught up with me in a massive way. It’s got to the point where when a tumblr game pops up that says something like “The last food you ate and the last video game character you played as are now all you have against the zombie invasion” I can’t even remember what the last video game I played was… and that makes me sad. Especially since I have the MGS HD Collection to play through, which I had time for when I pre-ordered it months ago but don’t now.

So, thank you for following me, I love posting to this blog so it’s nice that some people look at it :3 I will be inactive for a while but some day I will return seeking revengeance!!! With a queue full of odd happenings.

If you want me I’m still active on my personal and if you’re into RP/ask blogs I have a sort of Old Snake ask blog thing.

HAPPY 2012, SIMS & MGS FANS!

No good party is a great party until somebody has a massive argument. So in light of that, here is Solid Snake meeting Stuntman Mike from Death Proof for the first time and taking great care to explain exactly how and why he is a douche. Later on he relays this information to his new buddy Snake Plissken, who seems less than pleased, because Mike is his housemate. He can’t have seen Death Proof then, or else he’d understand.

I know I’ve been rather inactive again. Sims is one of those games I have to be careful of because I will spend hours and hours and hours on it without realising, so my updates are always sporadic. But it’s lovely to see you all still here, plus some new followers! Hi there & Happy New Year! XD

My latest Sim creation…Liquid Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid. Although I couldn’t get him as aged as I’d like - the elder body mesh made him look too feeble, and Ocelot is NOT FEEBLE. :) I’m pretty pleased with how it came out overall…gave him a few wrinkles so he doesn’t look too young.

I’m considering packaging this and posting to MTS, I’ve never shared my Sims there before, but there really aren’t many MGS Sims out there at all.

LOOK GUYS THERE’S A SIMS 2 LIQUID OCELOT AND HE’S LOVELY!!! I also have the same problem with the elder body mesh. Too many ripped older gents in this series for The Sims to cope with. Nice work!

Solid Snake does not seem impressed with Snake Plissken’s taste in alcoholic bevarages. I think he expected it to be, er, less fancy? So did I, actually. Ah well. Don’t say anything, Solid Snake, just drink up ;)

Oh my gosh guys, who remembers this? :D I still love The Sims 1, but making people after your friends or favourite characters was always difficult because you had a set number of heads to choose from and that was that… ahh nostalgia

I’ve just noticed Liquid trying to creeeeeeep into shot at the right-hand side there, but that looks like my IRL friend Steph’s arm holding him back -she’s helpful like that. STOP TRYING TO MAKE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU, LIQUID.

And Liquid has got fed up of Big Boss’s bullcrap. His thought bubble has a jellyfish in it.

Liquid [thinking]: I went fishing with you. I caught an anchovy, remember? You caught a jellyfish. You said you had a good time. Well, not as good as hanging out with SOLID Snake, huh, father? DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL.

You might remember Solid Snake and Big Boss having a bonding session on the swings in the local park, while ignoring Liquid?

Well, they wouldn’t even let Solidus in.

Here, Solid Snake has just kicked his ass, and Big Boss is laughing. He’s just laughing.

Big Boss you can’t just walk into some randomer’s house uninvited—well, alright, yes you can because you’re Big Boss, but still…

I genuinely have no idea who this person is or how Big Boss knows them.

I should probably intervene before they’re put into a CQC headlock for no good reason.

I don’t know where Big Boss has got to, but Ocelot, Liquid and Solidus are getting bored waiting for me to finish their new house. Here they are checking out the fountain in the front garden. Ocelot (in his athletic gear for some reason) seems pretty fascinated by it. He’s probably imagining having summer splash fights with Big Boss.
